Ruyton Girls' School (Ruyton) and Melbourne Swimming Club (MSC) are thrilled to announce a new partnership.
MSC, one of Melbourne’s premier competitive swimming clubs, and Ruyton, a leading educator of girls, have outstanding reputations for nurturing and developing the potential of their respective students and members to achieve their personal best.
Under this partnership MSC will operate a training centre from Ruyton’s aquatic facility, to be known as MSC at Ruyton. Led by former Australian Olympic Coach Ian Pope and supported by Julie-Anne Roberts, MSC at Ruyton will provide squad sessions from pre-squad, through to a state and national level. MSC staff will also coach Ruyton’s SYDSA and GSV swimming teams.
With a skills clinic and assessment day scheduled for next Saturday 17 June from 1-3pm, MSC squad training will commence at Ruyton from the start of Term 3. Families interested in receiving further information about MSC at Ruyton should CLICK HERE to register their details.

This partnership will foster the development of swimming performance at Ruyton and strengthen MSC’s reputation for quality coaching expertise, and the development of exceptional athletes.
‘MSC is very excited to be partnering with Ruyton Girls’ School to develop the School’s aquatics program via a new training squads program. Julie-Anne Roberts and I look forward to inspiring the swimmers to achieve their potential as both athletes and people with a focus on the technical and mental aspects of swimming.’ Ian Pope - Head Coach, MSC
