We are pleased to announce the appointment of a new high-performance strength and conditioning coach, Trent Pirihi from Inner Athlete. Trent has an accomplished background in assisting young athletes to develop their all round health and fitness to be able to achieve their personal best.

Pirihi commented: ‘To be working with one of Australia’s leading swim coaches, Ian Pope, is an honour. Melbourne Swimming Club has had many individual and team success stories in their short history and my focus will be to provide a pathway for each swimmer to develop and grow in their swimming journey. Having worked with some of the MSC swimmers already, I know that the group has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn’.
