Last weekend Melbourne Swimming Club (MSC) had an outstanding competition at the Victorian State Age Short Course Championships placing third overall in the team points score.

MSC was represented by 58 swimmers across the weekend coming away with5 gold, 16 silver and 23 individual bronze medals.

Our female swimmers were placed third in the girls category while our male swimmers finished fourth in the boys category.

Most MSC swimmers achieved personal best times with some outstanding individual results led by Sophie Jacka, Holly Neville, Grace Dobie, Catie Boyle, Romy Heard, Kaitlin Ord, Andie Tolentino, Arabella Tomlinson, Felix Dressel-De Bruyn, Luca Brown, Logan Brandi and Nicholas Kearns.

MSC performed very well in the team relays collecting 12 medals from a total of 15 relays.

A big thank to our coaching group led by Head Coach Ian Pope and senior coaches Mark McGrann, Julie-Anne Roberts, Liam Pope and Matt Kearns.
