Melbourne Swimming Club we would like to congratulate all swimmers for an outstanding result at the Victorian State Age Short Course Championships.

MSC were represented by 43 swimmers across 224 events coming away with 8 x Gold, 21 x Silver and 6 x Bronze medals.

Our female swimmers were Runner up in the Women Team Points while our males finished sixth in the Mens Team Points with a fourth place overall in the Club Team Points.

There were some outstanding individual results lead by Sophie Jacka (114), Seojin Hwang (80) and Romy Heard (62) points in the females along with Felix Dressel-de Bruyn (42), Max Hussey & Nicholas Kearns (30) points in the males.

Special mention to Victor Pidriz in the multi-class with 44 points.

A big thank you to all our parents for timekeeping, and assisting our swimmers to be the best they can be.

Also, a huge thank you to our coaching group led by Ian Pope (who celebrated a special birthday during the competition), Liam Pope, Kirsten Porter, Matt Kearns and Julie-Anne Roberts.  Our coaches have been so supportive and encouraging to our swimmers.
